After a busy spring, summer kicks off with two VR showcases: our own UploadVR Summer Showcase on June 12 & the VR Games Showcase in late June. So, expect these articles and other event updates to be updated multiple times throughout the month.
For now, here are the VR games with planned release dates in June.

Fishing Party VR – June 1 (PC VR)
Fishing Party VR is a physics-based fishing simulation that features twenty unique fish species that can be caught in five different locations. Store links

Sky Legends: An Aeropostal Epic – June 3 (PC VR)
Sky Legends is an adventure centered around the investigation of an air mail carrier in the early 1900s. The investigation spans ten years of the company’s history, told through interactive scenarios where players take control of different pilots and their planes. It was released on MetaQuest last month and supports both motion controllers and hand tracking.
Outblast – June 4 (Quest, PC VR)
Outblast is a fast-paced arcade shooter that pits players against a rogue virus intelligence. The campaign spans five different futuristic locations and unique boss fights. The Steam version will also have flatscreen support.
Sugar Craze – June 4 (Search)
Sugar Madness is an on-rails wave shooter from Jaligo (Jolly Match 3). This family-friendly adventure follows the madman Dr. Motivates players against the horde.
The Boys: Trigger Warning – June 9 (PS VR2)
The Boys: Trigger Warning is a stealth action game based on the comic book and TV series of the same name from developer Arvor (Pixel Ript). When the game was released earlier this year on MetaQuest, I reviewed the game, saying that the game “plays it safe, a run-of-the-mill stealth game elevated by the world it’s set in.”

The Boys: Trigger Warning is hard on the eyes, but still hits all the tropes one would expect in a stealth action game, for better or worse.
CleanSheet Soccer 2 – June 11 (PS VR2)
The Quest follows the exclusive Cleansheet Pro, developed exclusively for Sony’s current generation of headsets. This new entry has no subscription fee, focuses on gameplay and replayability with better visuals, full file support and an updated career mode.
Downtown Club (1.0 Release) – June 11 (Quest)
Competitive street racer Downtown Club is leaving early access this month after nearly two years. Since our early access review, the game has added several new cars and courses. The final release will add voice chat for multiplayer races, improvements to AI drivers, rain and slipstream, according to developer Commuter Games.

Spell Siege – June 18 (Quest)
Spell Siege is a gesture-based magic wave defense game. Players earn ‘Chow Essence’ by defeating enemies, which can pay for special runes to amplify the power of new spells and spells.
Starvault – June 18 (PC VR)
Starvault is a VR MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) first-person shooter with multiple heroes and abilities in 5v5 hero-shooter-style combat. Starvault currently has a limited selection of heroes to play in the meta quest. For the developer, the Steam version will be a paid app, with everything in the game instantly unlocked.
Project S – June 30 (Quest)
Project S is a tabletop real-time strategy game inspired by classic RTS games from the 1990s. This is a separate developer project and is planned as future DLC add-ons.
